Roofing complete for the winter & spring schedule

ROOFING OVER FOR THE SEASON

Hey everyone, the board want to make it known that the roof work is finished for the winter. We’ll be working with our roofers to try to get work started ASAP once winter ends. Happy New Year and we hope everyone who was able to get a new roof before the end of December has a much better winter going into 2022 than the last few years.

Schedule/order of repairs

We often get asked about when you will get your roof replaced or where you fall on the list of people who will be getting other maintenance in the spring.

The answer to those questions is simply “we do not know”. We have a general idea of who needs trim work, which roofs are in the worst shape, etc. but we generally don’t make any final decisions until before the work begins. We work closely with our contractors to make those decisions. We know the neighborhood, they know their trade, and so we work together with our vendors to create a plan and put everyone’s unit in the order it needs to be based on a lot of factors we’ve talked about in the past and that we won’t get into here.

We just finished the first phase of our roofing project at no cost to owners and we expect to continue in the spring with not only roofs but other projects as well. For now, there won’t be much going on besides our first quarterly meeting of 2022 soon, keeping an eye on snow removal needs, and taking care of things as they come up through the rest of the winter season.
